Your new officers recently attended a day of schooling in Golden Gate, so now we're supposed to know how to run the post for you. Well, we're going to try to do our best, but we need a little help from our membership. How can you help? In many ways... 1) Attend our monthly meetings. Your input and opinions can be of value to us... and don't you want to know what's happening around the post? Just listening to the gossip around the bar doesn't tell you everything. 2) Have you paid your '99 dues? Become an early bird. 3) We always need new members. Have you asked your friend or neighbor if they're qualified to join us? 4) Our kitchen is under new management. We have had many people volunteer to help but we can always use more. The more volunteers we have, the easier it will be for those who are willing to work. Remember - It's fun to go along for the ride, BUT it takes someone to help row the boat.
