From the Exalted Ruler: Members and Friends, Our Friday Night Dinners have been excellent with great participation. Our Monday night Shrimp Dinner and Jam Session was a great success. The Mexican Dinner, that the ladies of the Elks hosted was fantastic. Thank you Ladies, it was beautiful. People were telling me that it was the best Mexican food they ever ate. Im May, six of us took a trip to Florida Elks Youth Camp in Umatilla. We were pleasantly surprised to see what a magnificent facility it is. Next we went to the Elks Children's Hospital. The work that the nurses, teachers, doctors and therapists are doing is unbelievable. We made videos of our tours and they will be shown at the Lodge from time to time. Theese facilities and the programs that the Elks are running and the help and support we are giving these children made us very proud to be an ELK. Through your generosity and help our Lodge is sending FIVE children to the camp this summer. We THANK YOU, the parents THANK YOU , and most of all the children THANK YOU. So continue YOUR SUPPORT of the Lodge so we can continue our good works. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart, Joe Eisenbert Exalted Ruler |
